Huge thank you to our 2022 sponsors:

Kaiser Permanente | Chevron | Sims Metal Management | Audacy Radio | The San Francisco Chronicle

The Harmony Walk is a community-based event that will take place at Nicholl Park and will include a 5k walk/fun run through the neighborhood as well as an ongoing raffle, guest speakers, vendor booths, and more. The Harmony Walk is a critically important event that brings in the majority of GRIP’s funding for the year, allowing GRIP to continue to carry out needed services for our community. Thank you to our sponsors Kaiser Permanente, Chevron, Sims Metal Management, Audacy Radio, and the San Francisco Chronicle!

With your support, in one year, GRIP will:

  • Provide over 20,000 shelter nights to parents and kids.
  • Distribute over 56,000 meals.
  • Reach almost 3,000 individuals at homeless encampments.
  • Provide over 500 people with casework services that connect them to wrap-around community services like housing and job navigation.

We are the only dedicated family shelter in West Contra Costa County where families can stay together in one room. This is critical to maintaining their mental and emotional health.

Thanks to you, children will go to bed full, well-nourished, and better off than the night before. Parents who were homeless last night will have a place to stay tonight. People who were hungry yesterday will have a meal today.
