Our website address is https://gripcares.org. Greater Richmond Interfaith Program (GRIP) immensely appreciates the generosity of our donors. We respect our donor’s privacy and safeguard their personal information in accordance with the highest standards and the law.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

GRIP collects only the personal information you, the donor, provide that is required for processing donations and communicating with you. Personal information may include your name, address, phone number, email address and other information you provide us.

Like all organizations with an Internet presence, GRIP may receive standard tracking data when you visit our site. Information from your browser, including your IP address, pages visited, the length of time you spend on our site and files you download is recorded in our hosted website server logs. We may use and analyze this data to develop site content and improve service to you. However, no personal information is collected during the tracking process.

Who we share your data with

The personal information you provide Greater Richmond Interfaith Program remains confidential. GRIP does not sell or share donor’s personal information with any 3rd party person or organization. Online donation transactions are processed on secure servers. For example, Paypal transactions are processed on their secure servers.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites
